This magazine’s cover photo portrayed Myanmar model J Naw topless, very attractively striking the pose of a boxing champion about to attack.
Today, she tells Ayeyarwaddy Magazine that it was taken for POSH Magazine Thailand. She also points out that other models like Awn Seng have shot only for POSH Magazine Myanmar. But her photo shoot was for the international POSH. She was chosen as the representative for Myanmar. Models representing other countries like Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand also participated in the photo shoot. Currently, the magazine hasn’t been released yet. She promises that there will be tons of photos to come. This photo we have seen so far is just their opening photo. Just at the end of March, there was a controversy when POSH Magazine Myanmar came out with a cover photo showcasing Myanmar Model Awn Seng naked and paired up with a foreign male model. Audiences struck up some noise in criticism over this.

Also, during this past Thingyan, Posh Magazine featured “Thingyan Fashion” with photos of male and female models. J Naw was also included in this photo. However, she now says she does not want to go into detail about this photo. She acknowledges that her fans may have a small problem. They want her to compete professionally as a beauty contestant (Miss). Her path in profession is as a runway and photo model. She wants to make a breakthrough as a professional model.
