Director Wyne decided to cast actress Phway Pway in the film “Honey, I am just a rose” after Thet Mon Myint rejected the role offer. Apparently, actress Thet Mon Myint was reluctant to do it due to the involvement of a kissing scene in the said film. Fearing the anger of her fans was the reason why she refused the part, according to the country’s internal newspaper journals’ revelation. Actress Phway Phway says, “I agreed to do this film because the plot is extremely good. I also felt I could take this on. For the second season of talent show “Artist Garden”, which picks out capable potential actors from contestants, the final stage competition among finalists was held on 7th October in the Myanmar Movie Association Hall. For the said contest, the latest round of contestants was picked from the thirteen finalists of the previous step. “In the acting world, new generations are needed at all times,” said actor Myint Myat, who is one of the establishers of “Artist Garden”. For Artist Garden’s second time actor selection show, there were over 300 contestants who applied to be in it. From those 300 contestants, 13 people were selected to go on to the final stage competition. Included as one of these 13 finalists was Khine Thazin Yu War.

May Kabyar said that she loves to sing and listen the songs. Once she started one of artist works, she wants to do the rest as well. However she confesses that she does not have enough good skill regarding singing to create solo music album. But she accepts to sing whenever she is hired for entertainment shows. She was asked to create solo music album but she has not confident about her voice until now. She was criticized about her voice during singing when she was young.

May Kabyar always dances Ah Nyeint seriously unlike other actresses because her hobby is dancing rather than singing. She also did participated in dancing competitions since she was young. She likes to dance both traditional and western style. She used to receive offers to dance so close to event time. May Confirmed To Release Her Solo Music Album In 2015

May stepped into artist works from participating in model competitions. At the beginning, she even does not know what is movie settings and camera angle. She does not dare to expect to success although one place in artist works because of abettors.

May said that some people are greedy to achieve their expectations. And she believes that she will be able to achieve her aim combining with luck and endeavor. She is happy doing artist works anyway because she has an interest in acting. Her real name is May Thu Aung and she used that name in previous model competitions.

When May started acting in movies from SATORI Video production, she was recommended to change her name to May because May Thu is the most common name. She has no belief about meaning of the name and she even borne in May. So that she appreciated the new name called May.

May is interested in not only acting but also singing and she is trying to be a professional singer. She is planning to create a solo music album and it is not for commercial purpose. She is producer, singer and director in that music album. She wants to deliver the best to audiences whether getting profit or not. She thinks that singing skills, acting skills and modeling skills are different field. Modern Pop and Rock songs will include in her music album but not R&B and most of the songs are own tune. May expected to release her solo music album in 2014 however it is halted because of her health condition. But she confirmed that it will release in 2015 definitely.

May comments on Academy Awarding Ceremony 2014 that she did surprise there were only six Academy prizes. She wondered why other roles of artists in the movies were not awarded. She was more excited about previous ceremony because the Academy prize winners of main actor and actress were used to announced at the last session of ceremony. And more artists were awarded and the ceremony was lavishly.
