Right after working on a big film called “Are You Happy, Smiley?”, he is taking on yet another big project; a film called “Forever Mom”. Today we sit down for an interview with none other than the above-mentioned academy award-winning actor Nay Toe.
As a mama’s boy himself, what does he have to say about his involvement in the movie “Forever Mom”? His response is that as human beings, it is extremely important to know gratitude for our parents. He hopes that by watching movies, people can get an opportunity to observe just how enormous a parent’s love is. He feels that by participating in this work of art, he is also paying his due back to his parents by showing gratitude. This movie is an adaptation of the book by Dr. Khin Maung Win. Nay Toe feels extremely happy to have been able to play the role of Dr. Khin Maung Win. He feels that this is a kind of movie that will lead the audience to think deeply and learn some good moral lessons from it. This is the main reason why he decided to take on the film.
Since the movie’s events are set in an older era of time, it will be interesting to know about his preparations on his character’s style. He says that regarding his wardrobe for the movie, he has already fixed and agreed on it with U Maung himself. All preparations are going smoothly and almost finished. However, any difficulties that may occur on the set during the shooting, he cannot yet predict. However, he thinks everything is ready for the filming to take off. Since, this movie is based on a true story, how much is his level of interest in it? He answers that he does prefer acting in a story based on real life events. It is also quite a challenge to take on and he admits it is very difficult. Preparations need to be more carefully made than the shooting of a fictional story. And he also feels the audience may also feel more interested in a true story and therefore surely love and support it.

Talking about his other upcoming projects, the discussion turned to an upcoming movie called “Extreme Hypnosis”, which he is set to shoot with Shwe Htoo and Moe Set Wine. The character that Moe Set Wine is set to play is said to be very well-suited and fitting for her? Nay Toe feels that the storyline of the said movie is very appropriate for Moe Set. And her features as well as her height seem to fit seamlessly with the character she will be playing. Therefore the right appearance coupled with professional acting will be vital. When the finished product reaches the audience, everything must be in place: the character must be fitted flawlessly into the actor.
When will the shooting begin for “Extreme Hypnosis”? For the opening and ending of the story, they plan to shoot it in December, the time when flowers are blooming in the city of May Myo. The story’s plotline and direction are ready. Nay Toe stresses that this is not the usual kind of story that the Myanmar audiences are used to seeing, but rather a heart-stopping and overpowering plot.
