A Nyein Phyu is a teenager who we have seen in extraordinary poses in journals and magazines. She is an ex student of Laurel Art training school. Audiences may be more familiar with her face in TV series that are revivals of video films. Because we have been somewhat distanced from MRTV audiences lately, we decided to select director Thidar Lin’s daughter, A Nyein Phyu, as our Cover Star this week. Ma Cho and Ma Khine from Hello Magazine, who have not cooperated with our 8Days in such a long time, took the trouble of putting on the best decoration so it is hoped that this week Cover will be satisfactory in compliance with audience’s likings.
Firstly, most of her films have been Laurel Art school productions. Talking about that, she says she does video films with the school, and it slowly mounted up. However, she does work with directors from outside. She has gotten offers and made deals with other directors to work on films with them also. What kind of movies does she want to do mainly? She wants to act in a dance film that she hasn’t gotten an opportunity to do yet. She has been dancing since she was young, so it is her desire to be in a dance movie. Since she is an Alumni of Laurel Art School, does she feel it is easier for her to get opportunities than others? She says even though it was her mother herself who has opened that school, she does not feel she was given more chances than others. Her mother herself treats all the students equally without favoritism. Is she happy with the audiences’ response at Shwe Kyo, in which she participated this year. She replies that she is very satisfied with it. A lot more people know her more after she walked at the event. What are her further plans regarding work in the art industry? Her main hobby is obviously acting. She is also interested in dance. There is also a possibility that in the future, she might take voice lessons and venture towards singing.

As a newcomer, does she feel that her hard work is wasted when things happen like released video films not having a market and big screen movies having to wait for years before getting into cinema halls. She says currently there is a theatre system like ‘A’ Cinmea halls and ‘B’ Cinema halls. For ‘A’, there is a long wait. In ‘B’, the famed ‘Thammada Cinema Hall’ is not included. She wants new cinema halls to be built and for movies to be distributed to all equally and for the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Hall systems to go. If a movie is shot in accordance with recent times, then a long period of time passing before it goes into cinemas can actually hurt the films. Some people adamantly want the movies to premier in ‘Thammada Hall’ and are willing to wait for it no matter how long it takes. But she insists she is not that kind of person. Whichever cinema hall it is shown in, the quality is the same. She also doesn’t want the audience to be fixated only on ‘Thammada Hall’ either. Her mother’s directorial effort ‘His Domesticated Girl’ had gotten an academy award. Is there any other directorial projects of her mother’s in the future that might get A Nyein Phyu an academy herself? A Nyein Phyu replies her work is still very new as an actress, so it is unlikely that she will get an academy award soon. However, just because she knows she wouldn’t be awarded anything, it does not make her give any less of a performance than her absolute best when it comes to her work. Since acting is an art form that she loves, she gives her best effort no matter what.
Will she turn to directing one day? She reveals that even though she is not a director yet, her mother has remarked that she talks like a director already. In her acting school, she has learned directing and everything related to filmmaking, so she feels certain that when she is older, she will definitely become a director. Did her passion for acting come with her from birth? Or did she get bitten by the acting bug because her mother was a director? She answered that since she was young, she had been in children dance teams. Later, in dancing events, she got to meet actors and actresses and she developed an interest in acting. Seeing her interest, her mother decided to open up an acting school. And unexpectedly, her mother became a director. In fact, it was because of her that her mother became a director. How does she feel about getting the cover of 8Days? She feels very happy. She had appeared in 8Days for two times when she was very young. Now having an opportunity to do a photo shoot for it again, it is both memorable and fun. Advertisements Tweet Label: A Nyein Phyu, Actresses
